Christmas Program 2010

We had a GREAT Christmas Program.  Sister Angela Pierce did a wonderful job getting everyone envolved, decorating, organizing, just an outstanding job!  Here are some of the better pictures.  I have more so just ask if want some for your scrapbook. 
Those who were unable to attend due to sickness or visiting with family, we missed you!  We hope you enjoy the pictures of this all day event.

Sister Betty taught the Sunday School lesson on the birth of Christ.  Sister Angela had a program order.  Pastor preached a message during the middle of the program.  We sang Christmas carols in praise unto the Lord then we all went into the fellowship hall and ate what was supposed to be snack food.  That was some snack!  Afterward we had the gift exchange with Santa's and Elves passing out the gifts.  Fun with family, fun with friends, fun with the Saints of God.  It was a great fellowship.  Then there were games with ornaments being exchanged in a give and take fashion.  Interesting game!  Surprises were in every round.  Last there was a quick clean up and everyone departed.  Some were going home to rest, others were going to another Christmas Program and still others were trying to make it to see family in another state before the midnight hour.

Christmas Outing!

Sunday 17 people from the local church went to participate in the Jacksonport, AR Christmas Open House at the Old Courthouse, down by the river.  Here is a brief of how the afternoon was spent.

We didn't sing carols but maybe it would have been more productive.

Christmas Songs were sung and played by different vocal and ensemble groups. 

Cookies and punch were served for refreshments.

Downstairs you could tour the museum.

Almost everyone likes to pose for the camera!

Bells are ringing...Children Singing...All is Merry and Bright...

And Bright it was but quite COOL outside.
