I wanted to sit down and write a testimony on how God healed me.
On June 10th, 2011, I came home off the boat so sick, no appetite, and a taste of copper in my nouth (and had lost 40 pounds in a month). That's when I went to the kidnesy Dr. and found out I had End Stage Renal Disease.
On July 16th, 2011, I went into surgery to have a catheter put in my abdomen so I could do dialysis treatments.
So then on August 1st, 2011, I started my treatments of dialysis, seven days a week at home. Then on the first of each month I would have blood work done. Never once did I compain or blame anybody. All I prayed was for God to help me through this. And of course, my Christian family was praying for me also. I began feeling better each month.
So on January 26th, 2012, all my numbers looked good enough the Doctor said, "Let's try skipping dialysis to see what the numbers do." So we went 1 week, then 2 weeks, and that stretched out to a month. So my kidney Doctor said, "Looks like we have enough kidney function to stop dialysis." So we went another month. Then that's when he says, "Let's take the catheter out."
So on April 5th, 2012, I went in and had the catheter removed.
Today I am still doing well. So not only did God take care of me, but He helaed me, something I did not even ask for. I can't express in words how it feels for God to have healed me. But I am glad to serve a God who can fix and heal you. So never give up cause He doesn't give up on you!
Brother Keith Vinson
The Church of God, Bald Knob, Arkansas
Isn't that a WONDERFUL testimony? Praise the LORD! God is so good. We had been talking and I have never heard of anyone ever completely going off of dialysis. It was shared with us that this is something that the doctor has only seen a couple of times now. But with GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
God is no respecter of persons. What he has done for Brother Keith he will do for you. This is only some of the GOOD NEWS that we have to share from the church in Bald Knob. God is blessing each one and we want to be careful to give GOD the PRAISE and GLORY!
Thank you for rejoicing with us!

Father's Day
Thanks to Brother Luke, Brother Jerry and Sister Linda for a GREAT Father's Day!
Let the pictures speak....
Let the pictures speak....
Luke Wantulok read the poem "My Daddy"
My Daddy is a mountain
My Daddy is a sea
My Daddy smiles again and again
And my Daddy smiles at me
I love my Daddy, and he loves me
Cause my Daddy is a ray of light
That warms a winters' night
My Daddy is very special to me
I could not live without my Daddy
As he could not live without me
I love you, Dad.
Hope you Father's had a wonderful day.
Ladies Tea
We had a wonderful tea at Bald Knob on Saturday, June 18 at 2:00PM. The decorations were themed around a Tuscan Picnic. We had red and white check table clothes with white flour sake napkins. Small cutting boards with cheese, beef summer sausage, wheat thins and a tray of fresh fruits (grapes, cantalope, watermelon balls, and black berries). Finger sandwiches and chips were also available and a variety of teas, coffees, flavored waters hot or with ice. Strawbaskets filled with sunflowers or grapevines and loaves of bread were in the center of the tables along with bottles of melted candles. A wooden birdcage filled with large silk flowers, a variety of bottle and chickedns graced the serving table along with apple trays. Cups decorated with roses or formed like apples were at each setting.
Our devotion was about "Smells". We discussed familiar smells, smells that remind us of home, favorite smells and smells that just plain stink. We all shared smells that we enjoy. Scriptures were taken from Genesis 8:21-22; Ephesians 5:1-2; and Job chapter 10 with a focus on Job 10:12. We talked about not only a sweet smelling savor to the Lord but the favor of God. Noah had found grace int he eyes of the Lord but after the flood he offered up a sweet smelling savor and he favor was extended to him. We that are living righteously before God are like a sweet smelling savor to the Lord. We desire the favor of God let us offer to Him what brings His favor upon us. Jesus was our sacrifice but we must accept Him. Job understood the blessings of life and favor from God. Do we?
The craft demonstration this month was how to make bath salt gifts. 1/2 cup Epsom Salt, 1/2 cup Kosher Salt, 5 drops of essence of oil (we used lilac), you may add food coloring but chose not to do that. Place in a Ziplock bag and shake till mixed well. Fill small canning jars, decorate, tag and deliver. We used the very small jars and got 2 1/2 gifts out of a bag. They were made to use for a foot bath only. Each lady present received a jar as a party favor.
We want to thank our visitors from the Pine Bluff Church (Kat and Diane), along with Amber and Abby from the Searcy area. We hope you come again. Our ladies all enjoyed the time of fellowship and it appears as though there will be a tea schedule for the month of July. We are excited about Gaylene moving to the area. Tearesa and Oletta were out of town and they should be back for the July tea. Ladies get your tea cups ready.
A special thank you to Cheryle Andras for her help with this months tea party. She prepared picnic baskets as door prizes. Diane from Pine Bluff and Debbie of Bald Knob received the baskets. Betty of Bald Knob received the receipe box and cards. Eash remaining lady received additional jars of bath salts.
Pictures were made by Kat but I haven't been able to open them yet. Give us some time and we will share the pictures with you at a later time.
We missed those who were not able to come but there will be other teas. Watch for the announcement of July tea dates.
Thanks again for your participation.

PRAISE THE LORD!
God is so wonderful to confirm His Word among His people.
This month's WMB service scripture text from Acts 19:1-12.
A chair was placed for all of those who desire prayer to come forward and let the church pray. Two testified of the Lord touching their body while still at the service and two others testified of the Lord opening doors for them to minister to others. Most all present gave God glory for His blessings on them during the service. PRAISE THE LORD! There are somethings that simply cannot be put into words.
Take Action: We are zealed up, inspired, and prepared. Now is the time to demonstrate among God's creation His mighty power. Don't step back...step FORWARD! Will you be counted among the ACTS recorded for 2011 for the cause of Christ?

VLB's Read: Amos 7
3 Paths
1. The Sweet Life: Goes around but gets no where.
2. The Confused Life: Confused about the Truth but believes with all there heart has many paths but they all end up against a wall.
3. The True Path: No matter where you are always leads to the Cross of Calvary.
See how Amos was inspired of God and followed out his directions.
VLB's which path will you follow? Upon which path will we stay? Which path do we desire to follow?
Do you have the strength to be an Amos?
Read Amos 7 again...does it mean more to you now?
We praise the Lord for those who were touched in our VLB Service on Wednesday Night. Praise the Lord for Mid-Week Services. The faithful will endure.

The Elements Submit and Bring Glory to Christ
EARTH - I Corinthians 10:3-4 Christ the Rock
The speaker talked about Moses striking the rock in the wilderness and about the wise man building his house upon the rock. Jesus is our rock and our foundation. Christ provides all that we need.
Psalms 61:2
Song: I Go to the Rock
WIND - Nahum 1:3 God has His way in the whirlwind. Matthew 8:24-27. The speaker spoke of our temptation to quake when we experience storms. They shared the only safe place is in the "eye" of the storm. The eye of the storm is a place of peace and refuge. Christ is our "eye" in the storm. We must move with the storm if we are to remain within the eye. It is not a passive place but one of courage and boldness in the midst of the storm, which gives you VICTORY!
Song: I Know the Master of the Wind
FIRE - Matthew 3:11 He will baptise you with the Holy Ghost and FIRE. Daniel 3:13-25. The speaker spoke of the 3 Hebrew children as they experienced the firey trial but they were not alone. The fourth man was seen walking around was like unto the Son of God. We are not alone when we got through firey trials. We have someone with us who has already won the victory. The Hebrew children came out of this firey trial without even the smell of smoke upon them.
Song: He is Still in the Fire
WATER - John 4:1-9 Living Water. This story is of the Woman at the Well. If we will only partake of that living water from Christ. Did you remember how the woman RAN (like an overflowing river) to others to tell them of what Christ had done for her. (The river was flowing through her now.)
Song: There is a River
The four most powerful elements of our world are: Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. We have seen how these elements submit and bring glory to Christ. There is still yet an even more power available to us. That is LOVE. Love supersedes the laws of nature. Christ proved that Love passes all understanding and made pure LOVE availabe to everyone through the cross.
HEART: Ephesians 3:14-19; Philippians 3:10; John 3:16-17 All we need is Christ. He is our ROCK. He controls the WIND. He is victorious over the FIRE. He is our living WATER. Christ has been given power over all but there is still one place that He would like to be invited...that place is in your heart!
Call for Prayer:
If you have not invited Christ to live within your heart and submitted to Him...seek Him...and you will find Him. Don't wait too late...today is a GREAT day to come to know the LORD! Today, right NOW, is the DAY of SALVATION!
If you are a disciple of Christ, please, be in prayer for souls to be reached for Christ. Remember our missionary's, and their family's, on the fields of labor.
